Hi there, I'm Ashley, the passionate individual behind Artemis Pet Care YYC. What started as a side hustle through the Rover app during a career transition quickly evolved into something extraordinary.

As a lifelong animal lover, the joy of connecting with pets and their owners became more than just a source of extra income; it became my calling. With each wagging tail and enthusiastic greeting, I knew I had found my niche.

Driven by a desire to provide personalized care and attention to furry companions, I decided to take the leap and establish my own pet care business. Now, every day is an adventure filled with furry friends, tail wags, and endless cuddles.

Tammi

Co-owner and Casual Sitter

Tammi is a lifelong lover of pets and she has yet to meet a dog that hasn't immediately fallen in love with her and seen her as a fun pack member. Tammi will often accompany Ashley on walks or during stays when her full time work schedule allows.

Tammi has been alongside Ashley from the very beginning, encouraging and supporting every move as both a business partner and significant other. She has always been there to help in anyway she can including booking pet sitting stays of her own when her schedule allows, and clients, both human and furry, have loved her.

She is excited to step out from behind the scenes and work alongside Ashley and her wonderful team of dedicated sitters!

Keenan

Casual Sitter

Keenan has worked in the pet care industry for 20+ years and has loved every minute of it!
What he enjoys most about working with animals, is getting to know and learning what each individual pet likes to do, what motivates them, and what makes them happy. Animals are his passion and he will treat your pet as if it were his own. Keenan loves going for walks and just being around animals makes his heart happy!

Keenans experience in the industry:

He got his first kennel job when he was just fifteen and since then has worked in multiple doggy daycares, boarding and training facilities.
He adores and has worked with all breeds, temperaments, training levels & sizes of dogs. 

He currently holds a full time job in which he is out from 5:30 am until 2:00pm Monday to Friday. However, he is very excited to be able to provide pet care outside of these hours. Keenan is available for overnight pet sitting bookings as well as drop-ins and walking services.

Although most of his experience has been with dogs, he does have some experience with cats & other small animals and is excited about the opportunity to work with them more!

Catalina

Catalina is an animal lover with a special affection for dogs. Growing up with a reactive dog, she learned firsthand the importance of patience, understanding, and specialized care. Reactive dogs need extra love and attention; she is committed to providing just that. Having a pet who is more like family, she understands the love and care our furry friends need. Whether it's a brisk walk or a cozy cuddle, she will ensure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. You can trust her to treat your pets like her own—because every paw is family here.

Alicia

Casual Walker

Hello! Alicia has had a love for animals all her life. Between owning cats, dogs, a horse, and cows on the farm, she has worked with them all. She currently has two cats of her own, and eventually wants to have her own dog, but in the mean time she is excited to love yours like her own!

She cannot wait to meet your furry friends, and create a bond with them! True to her passion for animals, she is dedicated to caring for them as her own, giving all the love and affection and anything else they may require.

Her availability for walks/drop-ins include weekdays and weekends until 3pm, making those morning & midday visits easy for her to accommodate. Whether you're at work, running errands or busy with an all day event, she is excited to help when she can!
